North Carolina Wreck & Sand Tiger Shark Weekend Getaway - May 28th-June 1st
Experience some of the best wreck diving in the country with our 5-day North Carolina adventure! We’ll spend three full days doing 2-tank offshore dives with Olympus Dive Center, exploring historic wrecks in the famous “Graveyard of the Atlantic.” These sites are home to incredible marine life—including large, graceful sand tiger sharks that gather around many of the wrecks, offering unforgettable encounters and amazing photo opportunities.

Trip Requirements
- You Must be Advanced certified with Deep being one of the classes
- You Must have 24 logged dives 12 of which must be in salt water
- You must be Nitrox Certified
- Minimum Age is 15

North Carolina’s offshore waters are famous for warm Gulf Stream currents, excellent visibility, and an incredible collection of historic wrecks resting in recreational and technical depths. From torpedoed WWII freighters to massive military vessels, each site offers its own story and stunning underwater scenery.
But the true stars of this region are the sand tiger sharks. These majestic, slow-cruising sharks gather in impressive numbers around many of the wrecks, providing breathtaking encounters and unparalleled photo opportunities. Known for their calm demeanor and toothy grins, they make these dives both thrilling and surprisingly serene.
